Credit Bureau Collection Seminar Gets an "A"

This fall our Collection Skills seminar evaluations came in with raving reviews. Multiple categories in our survey to seminar participants added up to an overall approval rating over 95%. Those who attended the seminar evaluated the session on expectations, usefulness of information, content and overall presentation. Some of the comments openly shared included:

"Very satisfied with all sections, extremely thankful for the law sections in the seminar booklet"

"Very organized, precise and humorous!"

"Don't change a thing."

"The information was extremely informative and will help greatly in day to day business."

Several times a year the Credit Bureau presents a collection seminar to our clients and area businesses with the purpose of providing our tools of the trade. Our seventy-five dollar half-day format is packed filled with valuable information including:

· Re-examining and re-organizing your in-house office policies and procedures.

· Valuable data on the most productive collection times and days of the week.

· How to make your staff more efficient and effective in their collection efforts.

· Discussion of issues and cases that affect specific collection problems.

· What's involved when your collection agency takes your claim to court?

· Copies and instruction regarding the laws that govern you when collecting.

In addition time is reserved for your special and unique questions to be answered by collection professionals and attorneys.

With this much information and hundreds of satisfied participants you really should attend. Don't miss an opportunity to learn the secrets of collections and be more effective in collecting your debt. Join the ranks of those who have obtained the confidence required to reduce the bottom line and gain the edge to collecting receivables.

People don't care how much
you know, until they know how much you . . .
collect

From all of us at Credit Bureau, Inc.
We wish to thank all of our clients and friends for their continued patronage. In lieu of sending Christmas cards, we have made a contribution to several local charitable organizations. We thought you would approve - since it is the giving season!! We also wanted you to receive a special greeting from our staff, because we understand that relationships are built with people, not corporations.
Wishing You the Happiest of Holidays!!!

High Payment of the Month

High payment honors go to Dawn
Sanchez. She collected $5550.00 for a local Sheriff Department. Congratulations Dawn!

Welcome

We want to welcome two new employees to our Credit Bureau family. Kim and Amanda have joined our front office staff and are doing a great job.

PLEASE USE THE PINK COVER SHEET

We have been providing our clients with cover sheets for turning over new business for the last couple years to help streamline the process of preparing accounts to send to collections.

The sheet serves as a cover page for the itemized statements you provide us with. It gives your company name and information, type of service you wish us to use and the total number and dollar amount of accounts placed. There is also a checklist that details the kind of information we need to effectively collect on your accounts.

You place one cover sheet on each batch of accounts you send. As long as you have an itemized statement for each account listing the required information, there is no need to fill out separate forms for each account.

We hope that this cover sheet will be a time saver for you. As always, please call us if you have questions or concerns that we can help you with.

Need for Speed

About one half of our twenty-two staff members have the need to access the Internet for a variety of reasons. I had become resigned that the painfully slow dial up access was the price one must pay. In November of 2003, we implemented high-speed access via a DSL connection. The speed is nothing short of amazing and the line cost is quite affordable now. Resolve yourself that 2004 will be the year you make the switch; you will kick yourself that you did not do it long ago.
