Eighteen months ago, our company started a long journey with our sights set on our industry’s recognized certification, or in a nutshell, a Master of Business for collection agencies known as PPMS certification. PPMS or Professional Practices Management System is ACA International’s (our industry’s international trade association) agency certification program. The PPMS is built around the structure of ISO 9002. ISO 9002 is an internationally recognized quality management standard which is based on good management principles.

The purpose of the ACA PPMS is to provide frameworks that will help our company continuously improve. This management style provides a framework for our personnel to increase knowledge and skills in quality and aids management in controls over all processes. Throughout the past 18 months we have been documenting, implementing process controls, identifying and containing mistakes and improving processes. From our written policies to procedures and work instructions, our staff has been identifying every process and focused our efforts on establishing controls over every task we take.

With this certification our business goals are simple. This quality program is designed to produce continuous improvements in all operations. We now can:

• Achieve greater client satisfaction and retention.

• Increase our level of employee excellence.

• Eliminate cost that does not add to client value or our internal business objectives.

• Heighten effectiveness of compliance with regulatory and client requirements

• Heighten effectiveness of our internal compliance of policy and procedures.

These objectives ultimately lead us to continuous improvement and an increased degree of professionalism. It is our belief that this certification eventually will be an industry standard of how a collection agency will be graded. We are pleased to announce that we are the first collection agency in Michigan to attain our PPMS certification! In the end, we have embarked on this mission as a statement of our devotion to excellence and our dedication to providing you with the most efficient, effective and professional service available in a collection agency.
